For this issue, the value issue, of Parabol, curators Elsy Lahner and Jasper Sharp invited international
artists to explore the constructs of value and its relevance to their own practice. The concept
of value is shown in all its many guises: material and financial, personal and collective, virtual and supposed.
24 carefully selected artists have either provided some of their older works or created new ones
for Parabol Art Magazine. In differnet techniques the wide range of this theme is shown. Some of these
works even try to response to the turmoil currently afflicting societies and markets across the world.
